Varying Materials in Item Crafting
All crafters face choices in what material they will use to make their goods. While most of these choices produce items which fall within the normal range of quality for the given item, certain resources are available which can greatly affect the finished product. For example, using mithril for the creation of armor results in a suit which is lighter while still as strong as steel.

Metals
There are many different metals available to crafters in Rhean. Many of these are obviously not suitable for the creation of armor and weapons. It is assumed that some variety of steel is used for this in most cases. Certain other metals are desirable for these purposes, however, and these will obviously affect the finished items. In addition to the obvious requirement of having a supply of the metal, crafters must possess a certain rank to be able to work each metal.

• Adamantium: unset, treat as steel. Set, durability goes to infinity.
